Academic Detailing Pharmacist

Monica is one of P2P's academic detailing pharmacists responsible for developing and delivering our in-person educational outreach initiatives. She graduated from the UK College of Pharmacy in 2017 and completed UK's Community Pharmacy Residency Program with Kroger in 2018. Prior to her pharmacy career, she worked in journalism and publishing as a copy editor, page designer, and technical writer. Monica has more than 6 years’ experience working in various roles in community pharmacies. In her current position, she's worked on opioid-related education for physicians, dentists, and pharmacists (primarily in the HEALing Communities Study), but her favorite role is visiting community pharmacies with updates, education, and practice resources. She loves seeing (and supporting) the amazing care pharmacists and techs provide their patients!
